However, we can provide you with a detailed receipt (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. The amount you receive back varies based on your insurance plan. Additionally, we offer discounted rates and free services for those who may need financial assistance.

  • While we have standard therapy fees ranging from pro-bono to $175, we are committed to making therapy accessible.

  • A 48-hour notice is required for all appointment cancellations to avoid a full session fee. Clients are encouraged to reschedule appointments with at least 48 hours notice.

  • We currently take cash, check, credit and debit cards. Additionally, we accept HSA and FSA payments.

  • Yes, our therapists are currently accepting new patients. Please feel free to view our therapist’s bios and reach out to schedule an appointment.

    • All our therapists offer teletherapy, a convenient option with unique benefits and considerations. Learn more before you decide.

    • Teletherapy offers convenience and accessibility (illness, travel, etc.) but may limit non-verbal cues and confidentiality compared to in-person sessions.

    • Aletheia therapists offer teletherapy with varying approaches. Some may recommend occasional in-person sessions, while others comfortably treat clients solely through teletherapy. Contact us to discuss your preferences and suitability for teletherapy.

  • An LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor. LPC’s typically work with a broad range of clientele.

  • An LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Although equipped to engage with a broad range of clientele, they specialize in marriage and family dynamics.

    • Your first therapy session is a chance to share your story and get to know your therapist. Open communication and trust are key, so raise any concerns freely.

    • Finding the right therapist is like finding a good friend – it's about fit. We encourage open communication during your first session to ensure you feel comfortable and connected with your therapist.

  • Sessions are typically 50 minutes, with the option for longer sessions upon mutual agreement with your therapist.

  • Your privacy is our utmost priority. Everything you discuss in therapy is confidential and will not be disclosed without your written consent. There are a few rare legal exceptions where confidentiality may be broken: 1) if we are subpoenaed by a court, and 2) if there is a credible threat of imminent harm to yourself or others, including suicide, self-harm, or harm to a specific person. We will discuss confidentiality in more detail during your first session and provide you with a comprehensive privacy notice.
