Cecilia Wright, MA, LPC
Therapist

Cecilia Wright is an LPC specialized in cognitive behavior therapy focusing on working with individuals.

She views therapy as a safe relationship with the goal of helping individuals achieve self-acceptance and understanding of themselves, and their relationships.

Her approach to therapy starts by creating a relationship of trust and teaching her clients to identify their emotions and beliefs to begin to know themselves fully.

Cecilia uses a collaborative approach and evidence-based treatment to help her clients process trauma, life stressors, and how their background may impact themselves and relationships around them.

She has a passion for working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, codependency, and those with multicultural backgrounds. She enjoys working with motivated individuals who want to learn to recognize the importance of their mental health, especially those who have never tried therapy before. As an immigrant, she understands the power of breaking through cultural barriers and taboos to prioritize their mental health.

She is also certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy and has a passion for working with individuals with PTSD.

Cecilia earned a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University in 2016 and has been practicing ever since. She has experience working in outpatient settings, non-profit, and private practice, with individuals and groups.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outside with her family and two dogs.
